Save the Music! Jazz, Wine & Eats Event

Not all elementary students can afford music instruction or the instruments needed to learn – even in Douglas County.  Colorado Chamber Orchestra’s Educational Outreach in partnership with Castle Pines Arts & Cultural Foundation invite the public to an energizing evening of jazz music featuring Denver’s infamous Hank Troy Jazz Trio raising funds to support those students on Friday, February 24, 2016 from 7:00-9:30pm at the Daniel’s Gate Clubhouse in Castle Pines, CO.

The Colorado Chamber Orchestra’s Educational Outreach (CCOEO) program provides elementary band and orchestra classes before and after-school throughout Douglas County. Even in wealthier districts such as Douglas County, there are many families who cannot afford these classes or the instruments.  About 10% of students enrolled are in need of financial assistance (and are also participating in the federal free/reduced lunch program).
SAVE THE MUSIC! Evening of Jazz, Wine & Eats is designed to raise the much needed funds so that no student is musically left behind.

This Save The Music! event not only highlights the music of one of Denver’s most noted  jazz legends, Hank Troy, but features guest artist, served wine and appetizers in addition to a “Wine Pull” optional fundraiser: an additional $20 donation will allow guests to pull a number to a corresponding bottle of mystery wine holding a value between $15-$100!  (These bottles cannot be consumed on the event premise) The cost per ticket is $55 each.  These tickets are tax deductible.

The Daniel’s Gate Clubhouse is located at 6450 Daniels Gate Road, Castle Pines, 80108 just West of I-25 in Castle Pines, CO.
